Have fun with your wood fired pizza oven! Chicago Brick Oven President Carmen Parisi shows a sweeter side with his S’mores Pizza recipe.

This recipe is fun for evenings on your patio when you want the feeling of going camping without leaving the comfort of your backyard! You are guaranteed to fall in love with your outdoor pizza oven when you try this dessert pizza.

 Ingredients

  • 1 8-12 oz. Ball of pizza dough – check out our recipe to make your own pizza dough!
  • 9 Graham crackers – 6 crushed, 3 broken into small pieces
  • 1 12 oz. Milk chocolate bar
  • 1 Bag of marshmallows
  • Powdered Sugar

Preparation

Fire your outdoor pizza oven to 600+°F – check the temperature of your brick oven with an infrared temperature gun to ensure it’s ready. Work crushed graham crackers into ball of handmade pizza dough. Use a rolling pin to flatten dough to quarter-inch thickness in circular-shaped shell. Place dough on pizza screen and bake in pizza oven for 1-2 minutes.

Remove pizza dough from oven. Microwave chocolate – do not melt in your pizza oven– and brush across pizza shell. Sprinkle pieces of graham crackers and marshmallows on top of the chocolate.

Place pizza shell directly on oven hearth and bake until marshmallows are golden brown. Turn pizza as needed. Cook for 2-3 minutes. Remove pizza from oven and dust with powdered sugar as desired.

If you want a wood burning oven of your own, the Alfa Ciao Pizza Oven is a great oven for the backyard pizza party!
