It's Father's Day! But, what are you going to do with Dad? How about taking him fishing and then letting him grill up your catch in his outdoor oven?
Try this mouthwatering dish with salmon or any other fatty fish.
- 2 lbs salmon fillets
- 2 tsp lemon pepper
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/3 cup olive oil
1. Rub the salmon fillets with salt, lemon pepper, and garlic powder.
2. Place salmon fillets in a shallow dish. Mix the remaining ingredients in a small bowl, then coat the salmon fillets on both sides with mixture. Cover the dish and refrigerate for two hours, turning fillets halfway through to season evenly.
3. Preheat your oven or grill to medium heat. Place the salmon fillets on a lightly oiled grate. Make sure to put a dish or the coals underneath the grill if cooking in your wood-fired oven so you don't get oil on the oven floor. Cook for 6-8 minutes on each side. Salmon is done when it flakes easily with a fork.
Now, it's time to enjoy a great meal with a great man! Enjoy!!!
