Patio & Pizza Customer Service

The Earthstone 60 Makes Italian Pizza Possible In Your Own Kitchen!

At Patio and Pizza, we talk a lot about outdoor ovens. (It is sort of in our name, after all.) However, we believe that delicious, wood-fired food should be available to everyone, even if you like to stay inside to avoid the cold, bugs, or maybe your neighbors.

With that in mind, we are thrilled to offer the incredibly versatile Earthstone Model 60, an oven built to exacting standards that meet the needs of just about anyone under the sun. If you’re interested in an oven that can be installed wherever you want, whether it’s by the patio furniture or in a world-class kitchen, then read on to learn about the amazing Earthstone Model 60!

What makes the Model 60 so great?

Certified for indoor and outdoor use

Unlike most ovens that can only be safely operated in well-ventilated outdoor areas, the Earthstone Model 60 has been certified by the independent safety testing organization Underwriters Laboratory as safe for use in both indoor and outdoor configurations. This is because of the Model 60’s highly advanced refractory material and one-inch clearance between heating elements and its installation location. The Model 60 also features a highly-efficient venting hood to remove smoke, letting you cook delicious pizza, barbecue dishes, bread, or anything else your heart desires in your home’s kitchen without worry.

Hybrid gas-wood design

The Model 60 was designed by Earthstone to truly be the best of both worlds, whether it comes to its installation location or the fuel used to cook up your dishes. The Earthstone can operate in three cooking modes (wood, wood-gas hybrid, gas) letting you decide how you want to cook on the spot. The hybrid wood and gas mode brings you the rapid heating and consistency of gas, while also allowing you to impart rich, smoky wood-burned notes to what’s in your indoor pizza oven.

Heavy-duty materials

Constructed from extremely durable baker’s tiles inspired by the pierre de boulanger found inside high-heat ovens in European bakeries, the Model 60 boasts exceptional thermal efficiency and longevity. Food placed on the oven’s floor doesn’t create a drastic drop in temperature, and these tiles are capable of withstanding just about any level of heat.

The 23" diameter cooking floor allows you to cook the following food capacities:

  • 8" Pizzas: 2
  • 12" Pizzas: 1
  • Eight medium size steaks on 17" x 20" grilling rack

Order your wood-fired oven today and start preparing delicious, innovative, and nutritious foods just like your favorite restaurants!

Model-60 Features

  • The Model 60-PAGW wood fired oven has a 23" interior cooking diameter and a 15" wide by 7" high oven entrance.
  • The body parts are a cast 3 inch thick dense, high-temperature refractory material with an 80% alumina content and additional special additives which stop deterioration from acids emitted by wood combustion.
  • The Model 60-PAGW is U.L. listed for installation with a 1-inch side clearance to combustible materials.
  • The steel support frame and enclosure are constructed of heavy gauge welded tube steel and angle iron members. All precisely fabricated and attractively designed. The void area between the cast oven body and steel circular enclosure is entirely filled with 4 to 10 inches of a hardened lightweight insulation mixture, which forms a secondary molded body.
  • The combination of our thick cast refractory body and an outer insulation shell maximizes the thermal mass or heat storage capacity of the oven which allows for an extremely efficient oven that cooks at even non-fluctuating temperatures.
  • The temperature probe is placed 2 ½" into the dome or top of the oven in lieu of on the floor in order to avoid temperature readout fluctuations caused by food items placed on the floor.
  • A stainless steel adapter sleeve is placed over the standard eyebrow hood, which comes with either a stainless steel or copper hood cover.
  • The hearth floor tiles, "Pierre de Boulanger" (Bakers Tiles), which are used in industrial bread baking ovens all across Europe, are refractory material pressed at 8,500 p.s.i. and kiln fired at 2,800 degrees which ceramitizes the material to create a hard and extremely durable tile.
  • The body pieces and floor tiles are cast and assembled individually which greatly reduces the possibility of stress cracks due to normal heat expansion and contraction. In addition, this allows the oven to be service-able extending its usable life.

The Model 60-PAGW gas/wood combination oven contains all the same high quality features and components as the Earthstone Model 60-PA wood fire oven. In addition to the Model 60-PA, the Model 60-PAGW has three modes of operation: gas fired, gas and wood combination and wood fired.

SHIPPING IS FREE FOR ALL PURCHASES OVER $499 within the Contiguous US.  All other shipping only $12.99.  If you are in Hawaii, Alaska, or Puerto Rico, or in an area that requires extra charges (ie, Staten Island), please contact us for a shipping quote.  No tax added when shipping outside of Florida.

We are NOW stocking some of our wood-fired ovens in Canada so, if your oven is available, the shipping within Canada is FREE (and no import duty).  If shipping to Canada from the US warehouse, the shipping is free to the closest USA border.  You will be charged the difference from the US border to your designated address.   The additional charge is usually between $65-$200 but could be more to a remote area.   The Duty will be your responsibility but we can help you arrange the import process if you need it.

Lift-Gate Service from the freight company will be an additional charge. (SEE INFORMATION ON LIFT-GATE SERVICE BELOW)

Not quite ready to receive your oven or kitchen island yet?  Don't worry - you can purchase now to reserve your product and lock in pricing.  We will delay delivery until you are ready!

At Patio & Pizza, we want you to be confident that your order will reach you safely and quickly.  We've outlined the order and shipping processes below for your convenience:

Order Confirmation

When you place your order, you will receive an order confirmation e-mail outlining the products you purchased.  As soon as we receive your order, we automatically confirm that it is available for immediate shipment.

If your item is available for immediate shipment (within 5 business days), we will process the charges and submit the order for shipment.  If your item is on back-order or unavailable (and was not a pre-purchase), we will reach out to you via e-mail or phone to discuss options.

Due to weight of the some of the items, we may contact you to determine appropriate freight shipping requirements. If the item is over 150lbs and you do not have a fork-lift to get it off the truck, you need Lift-Gate service at delivery.  The good news? WE WILL ARRANGE THE SERVICE FOR YOU!  :-)  But, we need to know you need it!   See additional Lift-Gate Information further down.

Depending on delivery requirements, there may be a freight handling charge for special residential, lift-gate requirements, or requests (ie, white glove treatment) at your delivery location.

Once your item ships, we will send tracking information to the e-mail address provided when checking out.  If you do not receive tracking information from us within 6 business days of your order, feel free to follow up with us at CustomerService@patioandpizza.com.

Damages

Pizza Ovens are heavy and take careful preparation to ship successfully.  We want yours to arrive safely at your destination.  Please inspect the packaging of your oven or accessories when they arrive.  If you notice any damage, you must make note of it when signing for delivery.  In the unfortunate event that the delivery company damages your item, write "damaged" on the driver's bill, send photos to CustomerService@patioandpizza.com, and give us a call so we can process an insurance claim on your behalf and correct the situation.

Frequently Asked Lift-Gate Questions

Many of our outdoor pizza ovens, kitchen island kits, and outdoor kitchen components are extremely heavy and take special consideration when delivering to your location.   When ordering, it is important to note whether you need a lift gate upon delivery of your order to your residence or business.

Below are answers to our most frequently asked lift gate questions so you can make the right decision on your needs.

How will my order be delivered?

Freight is used only when shipments are over 120lbs or are over-sized.The standard Freight shipping delivery method is typically called “curb-side delivery”.   Curb-side delivery is the method used on all our freight shipments unless other arrangements are made.

We will schedule delivery date for you but the delivery company should give you a call a day or two ahead of time to schedule and confirm the delivery timeframe.

Your delivery will be made with a full size Semi-Truck ranging from 20 to 53 feet in length. The truck WILL NOT be a box truck like a UPS or FedEx truck.  We typically cannot request a certain length of truck for final delivery, so please assume it will be a long truck.  The driver is only obligated to deliver curbside at the end of your driveway so it will be your responsibility to move it from there.

We have found that most drivers will deliver up your driveway when possible but it is up to them to decide.  That being said, sometimes the drivers will help but they are not obligated to help in any way once the freight is off the truck. If the truck does not have a lift gate, you would be responsible for getting the item off the back of the semi truck.

What do I need to know regarding my delivery?

  • If your product ships via LTL Freight, someone will need to be home at the time of delivery.
  • Your delivery is curbside only so you are responsible for moving item to desired location.  Many customers use an engine hoist, fork-lift, or even a crane in some cases to get their heavy item to it's desired location.
  • The freight carrier will call you in advance to make an appointment before they attempt delivery.
  • Please use the telephone number that will also reach you because the freight company will use that number when attempting to deliver.

What is a Lift-gate?

A lift-gate is basically a hydraulic lift used to raise and lower items from ground level to the level of a delivery truck or trailer. Most freight companies deliver items on a truck which are usually designed to load and unload at a loading dock or with a fork-lift.

If your delivery location (ie, residence) does not have a loading dock or fork-lift and the item is too heavy to remove from the trailer by hand, then you would need a lift-gate.

Do I need lift-gate delivery?

If the individual items in your shipment are light enough for you to remove from the truck, you do not need a lift-gate. If your item is over 120 lbs and you live in a residential location, you will need a lift-gate.

If your delivery location has a loading dock or a forklift, you do not need a lift-gate. If you are willing to drive to the closest terminal and pick up the freight from the delivery terminal, you do not need a lift-gate.

People often ask “how does the delivery company expect residential customers to get the heavy freight off the truck?” Unfortunately, the answer is: “they expect you to pay for a lift-gate delivery”. You don’t want a delivery truck trying to deliver without a lift-gate and then not have a way to get it off the back of the truck.

If you can’t get the freight off the truck, there will be a re-delivery fee on top of the full retail lift gate fee.

*Please note: In some area’s freight companies may require lift-gate delivery for liability reasons.

Is lift-gate delivery always available?

No. The availability of a lift-gate varies by carrier and type of truck used for delivery. Therefore, it is very important to notify us in advance if you will require lift-gate delivery since most trucks are not equipment with a lift-gate.

How much does lift-gate delivery cost?

The charge for lift-gate service from the Freight company is typically $75.00.  The good news?  WE WILL ARRANGE THE SERVICE FOR YOU!  :-)  Just make sure you let us know you need it!

How do I request lift-gate service?

We make it easy for you to request the lift-gate service when ordering your oven.  Simply select "Free US Shipping - Residential/Lift-Gate Needed" when checking out and the lift gate service will be added at checkout.

We understand your love of fire and can help turn a boring backyard into an outdoor paradise focusing on friends, food, and fire!
