Your brick oven is perfect for dessert as well as dinner! A night on your patio deserves something sweet, and these dessert calzones will fill your family’s cravings.

- 6-8 oz. pizza dough – check out our video to learn how to make your own!
- 2 cups your favorite sliced fruit – try bananas or strawberries
- Powdered Sugar
Heat your wood fired pizza oven to 600 degrees Fahrenheit. Check that the temperature is correct with an infrared temperature gun.
Use a rolling pin to work your pizza dough into a quarter-inch thick square. Coat the middle of the dough with Nutella, and top with sliced fruit.
Fold dough in half, and pinch edges together to seal. Place the calzone on a cookie sheet and bake in your pizza oven for a 2-3 minutes, until firm. Then, remove the calzone from the cookie sheet and place directly on hearth. Bake for 2-3 minutes, turning until golden brown.
Remove from your Chicago Brick Oven. Dust with powdered sugar prior to serving, and enjoy!
